Approval of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with AMS.NET for the Civic Buildings Access Safety Upgrade Project at City Hall, totaling $85,602.70. Additionally an expenditure of up to $4,280.14 is authorized for a 5 percent contingency on the construction contract. This brings the total contract amount to a maximum of $89,882.84. An appropriation of $89,882.84 from the Facilities Replacement Fund will fully fund the project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with AMS.NET in the amount of $85,602.70 for the Civic Buildings Access Safety Upgrade Project - City Hall, authorizing an additional expenditure of up to $4,280.14 for a 5 percent contingency on said construction contract, for a total not to exceed contract amount of $89,882.84, and appropriating $89,882.84 from the Facilities Replacement Fund to fully fund the Project.
